The South Island is the picture of New Zealnd I had in my mind, mountains, lakes, rivers -- all begging for you to take their picture (hence the size of this collection of photos). My time on the South Island was filled with biking and hiking and kayaking and biking and hiking and ice climbing; as I'm sure you can imagine it was a wonderful few weeks.
