Introduction
October 2003
My first backpacking trip ever! And let me tell you, it was hard core! There were more than a few moments when I didn't think I was going to make it, but hopefully the pictures show how well worth the effort the experience was. Day 1 was all mud, but day 2 led us into caves and to the most amazing, pristine waterfall and laggon I've ever seen, not to mention to mammoth trees and the knowledge that I was somewhere very few people in the world get to go.
